Egypt will soon be home to Africa's first vertical forest made of 350 trees and 14,000 plants. The forest will be built 30 miles east of Cairo using cube-like blocks that stretch seven stories. While the project is being designed to look appealing, the forest will also create eight tons of oxygen each year, provide shade, improve air quality, and absorb carbon dioxide. Keep reading for more on the groundbreaking project, which is scheduled to be completed in 2022.

#followmeto the Luxor Temple of Man. This temple was built by Amenhotep III, but completed by other pharaohs of Egypt. Towards the rear is a shrine dedicated to Alexander the Great. During the Christian Era, the temple’s hypostyle hall was converted into a Christian church and the remains of another Coptic church can be seen to the west. Then for thousands of years, the temple was buried beneath the streets and houses of Luxor. Eventually the mosque was built over it. Magical place
