Egypt will soon be home to Africa's first vertical forest made of 350 trees and 14,000 plants. The forest will be built 30 miles east of Cairo using cube-like blocks that stretch seven stories. While the project is being designed to look appealing, the forest will also create eight tons of oxygen each year, provide shade, improve air quality, and absorb carbon dioxide.
