This Pousada is one of the most beautiful of the Vale do Capao. Their view to the valley is just stunning. The facilities are many: a restaurant, an alternative sauna, a river swimming pool , a lovely living room with a fireplace , a fireplace outside.
The breakfast is just incredible on itself and you will have a view on the mountains.

Room tip: view to the mountains

A great view from the room, with majestic walls of the Chapada and a breathtaking sunset. A good place to stay, it is even possible to get to the city by foot. A place to recommend during your visit of Chapada Diamantina.

If you want to rough it during the day, or for a couple of days and night, and then come back to comfort, Pousada do Capão is your place. It is nestled next to the slopes that form the Chapada Diamantina and has rooms with very nice views. The food is good and there is sizeable wine list. The inn has plenty of grass lawns to sit on and enjoy the views, and it is far from the downtown (and dust) of Capão. If you want to go out and feel the nighttime buzz of Capão, you'll have to take a bit of walk, which may be too much after a few days of hiking.
