It's always been my favorite place to stay near Ranikhet, I usually go there once every year since 3 years,and each time there is a lot to explore around. Xanadu has been really awesome. There is something about it that makes it very relaxing, and the food is really the best I have eaten anywhere, currently I'm in Bangalore. The ambience and service is really 5 star. I cannot ask for anything more. If you are a foodie, you would just love it. And do meet Mr. Ravi there to understand why Xanadu is a resort in true sense.

This place has become one of my memorable place on any hill station. Hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. Food service is fantastic and very tasty. Room facilities are resemble with 4 star hotel. The place is very hygienic and equiped with Wi-Fi facility. One can see snowy peaks from room windows. Bathroom are very neat and clean. Toiletries are of best quality with branded sanitary work.

The resort located at around 13 kms from Ranikhet in Majkhali on the Ranikhet-Almora road. The location is okay for relaxing. But for a tourist it's far from the town. Rooms are okay, nothing great. The entire hotel was empty when we visited in early May. Wifi did not worked in the rooms. One has to go to reception to use the Wifi. Looking at the rooms and service it is overly priced.

One cannot enjoy with the resort if the person is habits to stay in the mide town hotel.
