Close to the train station.
Checkin was quick n smooth.
Room was ok with tea coffee facility. I always like a kettle in the room.
We have no complaints at all and would recommend this hotel to all who wish to stay near the bus and train stations.
Easy stroll to lots of great restaurants on the next street. Food is excellent here. Try the foie gras and duck.
The bus to Mont St Michelle is opposite the train station_easy to go there by ourselves.
We did not have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment.

A really cute hotel but the advertising was a little deceitful. Assumed there was a spa on the premises but there wasn't. The breakfast buffet left a little to be desired. Half an hour before the end, there were no more croissants & had to keep asking for more hot milk for the coffee. Rooms & wifi good.

Stayed here as part of a bike tour before visiting Mont St Michel the following day. Convenient location for Mont St Michel - 10 km. Demi-pension included in the tour package and the three-course dinner (pate for appetizer, main course was chicken with rice and mushrooms, crème caramel for dessert) was very average -- no choices for each course. They seemed to cater to groups. The evening when we dined here, there was a group of 24 people, and another group of 6, and the two of us.

Fast WiFi. Good breakfast buffet, but no facility for boiling eggs.

We had to ring the bell when we walked in to get someone's attention. (Instead of staying at Hotel France, we got Hotel Ariane for the same price.) It was very clean, and I really liked the terrace/patio. Too bad it was too cold to really use it. My only complaints is that there was not enough toilet paper or a shower curtain. (And unfortunately I got sick for a few hours, but that's not their fault.) It's very close to the train station, which is why we chose it. And since you can go from the train station to the bus to le Mont, it was pretty perfect for travelers going without a guide. :) The bed and tv is very nice, and I liked that tea was available in the room. I also like the fact they use actual keys. The people were friendly. I'm not sure if there was a check out time or not, but we just left when we wanted, haha, which was after noon.

Room Tip: Try to make sure you get a patio if you're there in the spring...:) we were there in winter but I liked that little patio anyway.

We arrived to the hotel early about 9:30 am the front desk person yell at us saying check in is at 4pm, he was disgruntled, short tempered and very unhelpful... We know that is not check-in time; we have not spoken other than can we leave our luggage. He told us to leave it there in the lobby; he did not give us a receipt for our luggage; it was just sitting there on the side where anyone could go in and take it. Safety was my first concern...Anyway, we left it but removed our entire valuable & took it with us to the tour...We took the bus to Mont Saint-Michel. We then come back and check-in at 6pm. He gave us the room next to the train track room 214. We could not sleep all night. Unfortunately we are booked for 2 nights so we try to grin & bare it. There was no soap in the room, no tissue box, just a sample bottle of shampoo. Our breakfast is not included the price was outrageous $118 euros a night. We realize as we walk around the corner there were 6 others hotel with rates of $40 euros per night for two people. The only good thing about this hotel is it is next to the train station. Even that I was willing to walk two block to stay somewhere else. My husband a very easy going person never complaint when we travel but he agree that this is the worse hotel service. The people in the room next door were loud the wall are very thin. There are no showers just a bath tub, because there was no A/C it was hot and uncomfortable. There is a very moldy smell in the room and the hallways are dark with dim lights.
My Travel Agent know now not to use this hotel in the future.

Room Tip: Don't stay here at all. Your best bet is to stay in Caen and take in Mont Saint- Michel as a day trip. Unless you like sleeping next to a train track and no A/C.
