We went here to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary during November.
The room - Garden Spa Suite - was beautiful and very comfortable.
We were unfortunately there on a weekend that was booked by large groups, so didn't get to experience the restaurant as normal, but were put in a private dining room. The staff were attentive, but one of our meals (Pork) was very dry (so much so that I didn't eat more than 2 bites) and when we provided feedback an alternative or discount on the meal wasn't offered. The other meal - steak - however was lovely, as were our entrees and dessert. No tea or coffee is offered in the restaurant for after dinner which we thought was strange.
Again, being there at the same time as a large group instead of being offered the normal breakfast menu we were only offered the same buffet that the group had had, which was pretty much gone by the time we got to the restaurant.
The pool area is lovely however quite small, and when one of the groups that was booked had a lunch function beside the pool we had to move from the area back to our room which was unfortunate and not what I would expect when paying over $400 a night for the resort.
All in all the staff were lovely and the room and surroundings were nice, however the experience was not as good as it could have been due to the bookings there at the same time. The 2 key features of the resort, being the pool and restaurant, were not available to us for the duration of our stay which was disappointing.
