A long overdue return to L’Eglantine. The menu is interesting and beautifully cooked. No children’s menu but the little ones are encouraged to eat from your plate for free. There are a variety of rooms from standard to quirky and this is reflected in the pricing. We went for quirky, or small as you could put it, other guests have posted a picture. Our host was proud to show me a very acceptable more standard room while we chatted too.
The pool was a good size and we always had it to ourselves. (Maybe that was us noisy English on reflection!) Our tween found a sun-trap to tap into the wifi from.
At our hosts recommendation we had a glorious afternoon river bathing at the Pont des Arabines, just amazing. Oh, and sky here is so so blue.
