This is a great location about a kilometre up a mainly unmade road. The property is exactly as shown on the internet photos.
It's a really great location with a few minor points that need to be taken into account.
Although it's fairly isolated there is a large house (not the owner) fairly close next door. The couple who own the house are very pleasant and own the chickens seen in the photos. One potential problem is the noise from no less than two cockerels that tend to crow a fair bit throughout the day.
The only other problem is that there is no air conditioning and with only the bathroom windows having mosquito nets built in we found a problem with attracting insects during the hot weather when all the windows needed to be open for ventilation.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay here it's well placed in a great area for a holiday.
This place was pretty much faultless. From the contact with the owner, to the amazing views from the floor to ceiling windows in the lounge area this place was amazing. Although the road to the property is a little difficult (we managed it in our estate car but a 4x4 would find it a lot easier), you can easily do child-friendly walks from the property, and with the roaring fire it is difficult to tear yourself away from the property to the wonderful surrounding countryside. The rooms are all of a good size, and our children loved the bunk beds and colourful bedding in their room. There are loads of animals in the surrounding fields (and even on the door step). Everyone in our group thought this was one of the best places they had ever stayed and I would definitely recommend this.
