This place was really cozy and awesome. We spent our anniversary here and it was really really relaxing. Sue and Gus were super nice and accommodating, even offering to drive us to and from town. Definitely stay during a full moon, we got the most beautiful views at night. Just to note that it is slightly away from town so it's better to drive, but if you don't mind is definitely worth it. Will come back for sure on our next visit to Raglan.

It was a dream to stay at the Waters Edge, we only wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage was charming and comfortable, with all the amenities provided, including an array of board games and books. The bed was extremely inviting and comfortable and the shower was incredible. The kitchen was well stocked, and we made a full breakfast which we enjoyed on the patio overlooking the water. Sue and Gus were welcoming and available as needed, offering us access to their garden and double kayak which we took out on the calm waters. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Raglan!

This review is a little late as we stayed here for our first 3 nights following our flights from the UK to New Zealand. It was a great place to chill out after our long journey. The cottage is very characterful, being over 100 years old and the views down to the sea are gorgeous. Sue and Gus live next door and are charming. The bed was comfortable and although a little outdated, the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The only downside is that breakfast is not provided and the kitchen area is tiny and just a bit impractical. This didn't really impact on our stay but it would have done if we'd wanted to stay longer. Still, we would highly recommend this as a beautiful place to stay and would definitely come back if we were ever back in Raglan.

Thanks for taking the time to post your review- hopefully you enjoyed the rest of your visit to NZ. As you point out the kitchenette is quite small - as most of our guests are only staying for a few nights. Small but perfectly formed- we like to think. Have a great Christmas and hope to see you back this way some time in the future.

Stayed in the Suite...beautiful views, and owners have thought of everything. Close to Raglan but very peaceful. We stayed for 2 nights and although the weather wasn't brilliant, there are books and games provided to occupy!

If you're looking for total relaxation and a bit of luxury this could be the one.

Set approximately 5 minutes drive from the charming seaside town of Raglan we stayed in 'The Suite' - a fully self contained and private residence with lovely views of the bay. The Suite offers a separate living area with modern kitchen and is well and comfortably furnished.

The bedroom is beautifully presented and the bathroom is modern and attractive. This is an ideal spot for a couple getaway and the hosts are most welcoming, offering access to their garden, the waterfront and even kayaks if you're feeling energetic.

Sadly we were only able to spend one night but would definitely revisit given the opportunity.
