“A must Visit for all Wildlife Enthusiasts”
Reviewed 7 October 2010

The place is a haven for the one horned Rhino. its vast grasslands & swampy water provide the idea habitat. the park is well managed but poorly guarded leading to rampant poaching & infringement by locals.

You must do the Gypsy safari & also the elephant safari. i recommend you do the early morning Elephant safari as it has the maximum chances of you running into large hordes of rhinos during their early morning rituals, otherwise during the day they prefer to stay out of the sun & sleep in the shade.

“Great experience for flora and fauna”
Reviewed 26 August 2010

The Karziranga Park is very much worth a visit. You can see many animals close up. Elephants, Rhino, Bufallo, if you are lucky a Tiger. It is also a paradise for birds, too many to name.
Wild orchids and many other flowers can be seen in the park.
Visited End of March with children. The rainy season was just about to start, but we could go for two safaries a day without problem.

“Must visit to enjoy the wildlife in natural habitat.”
Reviewed 18 March 2010

Visit to Kaziranga National Park is worth the effort and an experience which will leave you craving for either extended stay or repeat visit. It is not just majestic one horn Rhino but the undisturbed wildlife in natural habitat that leaves one spell bound. However, for one to enjoy fully, a good guide with jeep and ample time for elephant safari is must. In peak season from mid Dec to mid Jan, it is not worth due to heavy rush which spoils the serene ambiance of wild animals.

“Great One Horned Rihno”
Reviewed 29 December 2009

We had just came from a two weeks trip from Assam, where i had visited the Kaziranga National Forest. I had spent three nights & two Days in this place. my date of visit was from 13th night to 16th morning.
I stayed in a hotel named Night angle, which had opened in this October only, and is just 0.5km from Kohora center point. the Hospitality was very good. All the trips are being arranged by the lodge owner, and was made in a very cheap rates.
I visited the elephant ride at Bagori range. Jeep Safari was done at all the ranges central, western( Bagori) & Agratoli ranges.

All the ranges were great to see. But i liked the Bagori range & Agratoli Range the most. Possibility of seeing tiger in Bagori Range is more than central range.
