One of the worst properties I have stayed in a long long time. While the expectation from a government property is generally not high, this was a property which should have a world record of being a bad place to stay during a holiday.
- Extremely dirty and unhygienic dining hall and kitchen. Flies, un-mopped floors, rickety and broken dining chairs and oily food (we all had an upset stomach the first day we ate there , and then chose to survive or bread and banana the next 2 days)
- Disinterested dining room staff, who look and act like they are doing a favour to you. There is someone sleeping at the counter anytime of the day (Most of them at least)
- Dirty and stained linen on beds.
- The cottage I stayed in (Tiger) is with gutkha-stained walls beside the bed, badly lighted with scribbled and deep colored walls, stinking and dripping bathroom, broken cupboard door, and creaky and dirty furniture. Icing in the cake was when I was welcomed with a lizard falling on me as soon as I opened the door.
-Stray dogs and monkeys swarming all over
[The only good thing were the gentlemen at the reception who were open to discussion and were courteous. Espl Mr Dinesh Kalita and another young executive who were very cordial. ]
