We stayed one night and it was a most peaceful and relaxing experience. The location is beautiful, set in a green valley with views of the western tiers. Sean and Rosemary are friendly and make you feel very welcome. We chose to eat dinner at the lodge and the food was exceptional - tempura fish and vegetables, sourced from the garden. Breakfast was also exceptional - I have never eaten duck eggs before and they were delicious. Also, Sean makes a mean hot chocolate.
Our room was lovely and comfortable and we slept very well in the peace and quiet. It was a really relaxing stay, with good company and I would definitely return.More
