One among the best stay option at Munnar, if you prefer to slightly away from crowd and wish to have superb views from your balcony. Having own car will be good. This one is located on the road/direction towards Kochi among the 4 entry points we have. Going from Tamil Nadu side or Karnataka, you need to cross Munanr town and reach this place. But its worth the extra few kilometers. The view + gushing sound of the waterfall is something one can cherish + the mountains and mist. Rooms and the property was clean and well maintained. Kitchen is bit slow. You can order in advance but if you want something more, like couple of roties for your kid, you will have wait and wait. Not all at the front desk enjoy give you lot of travel tips. Food was good, can comment only on veg. Overall a great place for nature lovers. The ambiance compensates for any other shortfall.

Room Tip: All are good, may be the one top ones on the left side gives a slightly better views.

Went there after reading tripadvisor reviews and we were so glad we chose this place. Located on top of a very steep hill, reaching there is a bit difficult if you don't have an experienced driver but once you reach there the view is breathtaking. We would wake up at 6 am every morning to just sit and look at the beauty of the nature for hours. Amazing location, warm and friendly staff and we don't think we met anyone as warm and welcoming and genuine as the owner Mr. Rajesh during our trip. Its a very non-commercialized place with decent rooms and park facilities. The USP of this place is that every room has the same beautiful view so you will not be charged differently for any room. Not to mention the food, which was delicious and reasonably priced. We always ended up eating more than what we wished for! Just close your eyes and book this resort and get ready to be blown away by fresh clean and air and nature all around you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I visited Aranyaka with my parents and we had a very comfortable stay. The resort is easily reachable from the main road by a personal vehicle. Just a small walk from the resort you will be surrounded by tea gardens. I stayed in the new block which offered a very good view from a height. The food provided as part of package was good. The staff was helpful in guiding us about places to visit and transportation. Although the staff was helpful many of them weren't particularly warm. No smiles and very formal. Maybe a bit of personal touch would warm up the atmosphere a bit.

Room Tip: New block rooms give a hotel kind of feeling with a good view while the older rooms/cottages feel wa...

We visited this small property in the month of September and were greeted with fog, mist, drizzle and slight chillness in the air. Amidst all this, the one USP of this property is the location, bang opposite the vast tea estates and a ravishing Attukad waterfalls. You can view in any of the rooms/cottages booked. We stayed in the super deluxe rooms, part of the new building located a a higher elevation. The view is stupendous. Hospitality is good. Rooms are quite big with a balcony and good washrooms with gas geyser with 24 hr hot water and good toiletries. Food can be ordered in the room or ala carte in the only restaurant. Food preparation is ok, nothing great to talk about. There are no other activities for children or adults to pass time other than venturing out for sightseeing. Approach road is through tea estate and broken in few places due to heavy monsoon time. Property is located about 6kms away from Munnar city center, Would viist once gain in future.

Room Tip: All rooms face high tea estates hills and a view to waterfall
