There is always a second thought whenever I book a new property , so was in this case.
It's quite a adventurous ride to the entrance. A beautiful reception room with an ancestral Goan look welcomes you, this room is complete with a " Balcao" , " Voltaire" and some old styled wooden casks and containers. Payments are collected before checkin, digital payments except credit cards accepted.
From reception you are accompanied to the rooms which is a good 500 mts. They have beautiful mud rooms with with a balcony , presently they have only 6 rooms but each one has a balcony with a view, beautiful Interiors, " Balco" a beautiful incense stick holder and a candle holder.
The walk from the room to the reception , or restaurant or the pool is not very convenient for people with mobility issues,
The pool area has three pools which could be utilised even familywise. They need to be cleaned regularly though.
The heart of the whole resort is the restaurant. This restaurant has a beautiful view of the valley, a wall is dedicated to antiques that have been collected from old Goan Houses. It's a warm welcoming place.
Around 12 easy chairs kept in the centre where you could read your book, sipping your beer.
Food served in copper plates with banana leaves. They cook fresh authentic Goan cuisine. Orders are usually taken in advance.
One last but most important thing the " Warm" "Welcoming" " Helpful" and " Genuine" team. I couldn't find any one who didnot fit these adjectives.
Thank You Team Porsu

The scenery is awesome, it is right in middle of a jungle, food is good ( Chef Samuel was very receptive and followed all our instructions in terms of our food requirements and he cooked delicious meals for us.), the swimming pool is nice ( it’s at a height, so it gives you an infinity pool experience), the rooms are nice too ( especially the Goan Villas. They are spacious, have a tub in the bathroom and the balcony view overlooking the fields is also fantastic.) but the major problem with the resort is access.
There is NO direct access to the resort. There is a stream of water (which has a very powerful water flow right now due to the heavy rains) which separates the resort from the land. You have to park your vehicles on the road ( inside Leopard Valley), cross a rickety, slippery bamboo bridge on foot, then they take you to the resort in their vehicle.
So basically you can not take your vehicle all the way to the resort and you just have to leave it on the road with no proper parking as such.
We were a group of 10 people ( 5 couples out of which 4 couples are senior citizens ) who visited Porsu on 17-18 July 2021. Despite having a great time at the resort, we had a horrible experience on our way back because that old bamboo bridge collapsed and we had to walk through flooded paddy fields to reach upto our cars.
I would NOT recommend this resort to Senior citizens and people with small children as it is just not practical.
We had to walk up and down slippery stones to get to the restaurant for each of our meals. Plus to make matters worse, the resort is not powered by a generator & electricity supply was intermittent. So getting to the restaurant in the dark became too risky.
The 3 Earth Rooms also have a couple of stairs that you need to climb to get to the room. The management had not bothered to get the stairs scrubbed to remove the mould due to which two of our group members slipped while climbing up to their rooms. ( Luckily nobody hurt themselves.). The staff sprinkled bleaching powder AFTER we had checked in and told them to buy bleaching powder.
We were supposed to check out by 3:30 pm and we were all packed up and waiting for their vehicle to arrive to pick us up. But we were just kept waiting in our rooms for over 2 hours with no proper instructions and only after we threw a fit, did they make alternate vehicle arrangements to get us out of the resort.
So overall, the Management ( especially the owner) needs to learn to handle the resort more effectively if they wish to create a happy customer experience. We got to know that the only vehicle which was to pick us up was sent to the airport to pick up the resort owner while keeping the 10 of us stranded indefinitely, separated from the land. This was a very irresponsible behaviour on the owner’s part because the staff will always follow the owner’s instructions.
Also, we had booked the resort in March 2021 for a trip in May 2021 and had to postpone our plans as the COVID second wave hit around that time. So I spoke to the manager Pritesh several times during this period, during which I had mentioned about the group having a majority of senior citizens. Not once did he mention anything about the access to the resort/restaurant/rooms and all the climbing & walking we would have to do. Their website also does not mention anything about this. Hence I am writing this review so that people are fully aware before making their bookings.

This was the first eco-resort in Goa we visited as we always admired Goa for its beaches more . But Goa always seems to amaze us everytime we visit. Porsu was one such attraction this time, a dear friends recommendation. I must say we had a wonderderful time in this small eco-friendly resort. Be it the location, rooms, food and service, every thing was just very nice. Special shout-out to Pritesh for being such a wonderful host.

Things we loved,

Excellent food, simple and truly Goan (Best Fish Thali i had in the city ever)
Truly hospitable staff (Always service with a smile)
Location (if you like to be disconnected from the world for a day or few)
Earth homes, beautifully designed gives a true Indo-portugese feel
Restaurant and the infinity pool area (view is really beautiful)
Folk dance perfomance (mostly on weekends)

It's really worth an experience to be in this beautiful place and experience the bliss in the lap of nature.

We have visited many eco resorts in the past and were eagerly waiting for one to start in Our Goa itself.
We visited the beautiful resort "PORSU" on a friend's recommendation.
The place is perfect for some serene and calm time. Nestled amidst the forest area at Agonda its beautifully planned..The mud rooms, the walkway, plantations, folk dance performance, good staff were the highlights of the place..
Food was super delicious (complete 10/10 from a foody Goan).
The restaurant is at a very high level with a surrounding infinity pool.
Overall amazing hospitality by the very able host Pritesh..!! Looking forward to visiting again !

Goa - first thought comes in mind -beaches beaches and beaches, but If u want to see unexplored place of goa Parsu is your answer.

Excellent stay at nature's lap. The property is located just a km away from the main Agonda beach Road. Reach till the property location is another level of adventure with a small steam. Once we reach to the property, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly the stuff Prithesh , even he makes our trip more memorable and adventures with his advice and tips about the place.

The place makes u feel you are in lap of nature away from hassle of the city life.

All other stuff in this property was so friendly that you won't feel it as hotel, will make you feel home like. Special mention about the food, their goan thali for non veg and veg both were super testy.
You will be blessed with a breathtaking view while enjoying super tasty food.
We have enjoyed the view of the property from the hill top restaurant.

You can also enjoy swimming in their infinity pool while admiring the view around it.

This property is a pure bliss with nature.. In the early morning you might spot some beautiful peacock and monkeys as well.

The trail to butterfly beach from parsu will give you an adventurous feel.

Every cottages here are beautiful in their own style.. Night at this property can give you the forest thrill..
Will surely recommend people who are looking for a lil relax with nature and away from party and beach hustle, is the best place to stay .

Thanks you again Ptithesh and team parsu to make our stay memorable.
