The hotel is beautifully kept, totally updated, with stunning views, a lovely enclosed patio breakfast area (good, simple buffet breakfast), a jetty to walk out on, decks for supplied deck chairs... Perfectly situated in easy walking distance to the lovely sandy beach, and while there is an on site restaurant, there is a fantastic restaurant next door (Molo 21) so you needn't go far to have a perfect romantic seaside escape.

This beautiful historic hotel rests on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. The waves can be heard lapping at the edge of the hotel as you rest in this very updated clean and welcoming establishment. The staff from the moment you walk in the doors at the bottom of the marble steps beckon you into an experience you will not soon forget. The gardens are impeccable and the views are truly majestic in every manner. If you can get a room with a balcony, grab it-really worth the extra money. Cherish each moment as this will be a memory maker! The town is quiet and a place to rest, but so very close to Rome with a short train ride away from Termini Station. Definitely worth the trip for a bit of sun, surf and great food. If you have extra cash, try the restaurant at the hotel-but be prepared to spend. Great seafood and wonderful service! For less expensive meals, head down to the beach area and try one of the small pizza restaurants with a view. Simple but satisfying. Again, this town is pleasant and will be one for the memory books! .

Room Tip: Get a Balcony!

Not knowing the area, we had researched via trip advisor. We wanted somewhere close to the ship port and easy to get to from Rome airport.
This hotel covered all those points. We were given a very warm welcome and given details about the adjoining restaurant.
Our room overlooked the sea and was perfect for a nights stay and very clean and fresh.
Nice sized bathroom with everything you need.
We had travelled to the hotel by train from Rome (book a taxi as the station is small and no taxis outside). However we rarely take taxi's and being us decided to walk along the seafront as we travel light and are able to do this. It took about 15 minutes (although we did walk past the hotel as you only see a sign for the restaurant which we ignored).
The restaurant is visited by locals as it is meant to be one of the best in the area - most people that night were not staying at the hotel, so I can believe that statement, also the food and wine was very good.
Breakfast was very pleasant and the staff kept the buffet topped up all the time and fresh coffee provided.
The next day a taxi was organised for us to take us to the port which was very convenient.
If we get a ship from the area again I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a seaview room.

Very very..very nice hotel. Excellent food and nice and friendly management and staff. The room was beautiful and cosy / comfortable.

From our room we could see palm trees and the beautiful blue sea. Best view you can imagine.

The town was alson very nice.

We have just one thing to say to you traveling people... if you consider a great hotel by the sea...and only just one hour outside beautiful Rome... Santa Marinella...and the great Hotel Villa delle Palme
would be it !!!

Have a nice trip <3

Thanks

Room Tip: seaview-side
