Saturday night and BYO is on the cards. Our night at Castelmola began with a friendly greeting and some wonderful bruschetta. My partner stayed with the bruschetta, while I gorged on sone garlic prawns. Not in a sizzling bowl, but a normal bowl with the most delicious tomato/garlic sauce.
This standard continued with the mains. My partner's cannelloni was hearty and reminded her of fond memories shared 30 years ago. I had the traditional spaghetti bolognese and had to roll up the sleeves to attack one of the best I've ever had.
Sadly, no room for the well thought out dessert menu though.
