We had laksa, fried lapu-lapu, shrimps in garlic-butter sauce, Singapore chili crabs, broccoli in oyster sauce and pineapple rice. All were good.
Service is quick and done with a smile. The waitress even took out the crab meat for us (no messy hands!)
Highly recommended.

Don't be misled by the title. It's a matter of personal preference. MIMAY'S offers something most of the other restaurants in Ormoc don't have - classy dishes and elegant ambiance. It's refreshing to see items in the menu you don't normally see in other places. The food we ordered was great although I found it a little bit salty. Still, I'm definitely going back to try out the other specialties of the place.

Mimay's Seafood House in Ormoc simply raise the bar in all famous seafood restaurant in the City. Variety of seafood choices from fish, shrimp, squid, scallops, king crabs and veggies like the spicy adobong kangkong. You must try the steam fish with black beans sauce and the deep fry squid with salt and pepper and the scallops with butter. The taste is so good that invites you to come often. If Ocho in Tacloban can serve your order in 15 minutes, Mimay's Seafood can serve you in less than 15 minutes. Please come and dine with Mimay's Seafood House.#kaonnata

It's nice to find a restaurant with seafood that's still swimming. Good live seafood menu. We tried cereal king prawns - very nice and a bit different.
On the negative side - very noisy with very low ceiling, scraping chairs, and competing conversations and background music.

I brought the whole family to this place for dinner last Saturday and the first thing that caught my attention was the friendliness of the staff and how the character of the atmosphere. Having seated ourselves comfortably, we chose from a wide variety of food in the menu and we ordered what we thought we like based on the food we usually order at other restaurants. When our order was served, we did not like it but we fell in love with it. They were spicy and my family can't stand spicy food BUT they consumed theirs to the last morsel - a testimony of how delicious the food was. We will return to this place soon.
