“Lovely Stay”
Reviewed 12 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

The Old Inn was a charming place with comfy beds and excellent service. Cleide was an attentive hostess always ready to assist us. We certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a short stay in Ainley Top. The bus stop is nearby for a trip into Huddersfield and there is a grocery store to provide any basic food to cook your meals. The sleek cooktop takes a little getting used to as it is very modern but the kitchen also has an oven in which you can bake. The downstairs shower is quite large and there is a washing machine should you need to clean your clothes. We were quite happy with our stay at the Old Inn.

“A nice short stay at the Old Inn in Huddersfield.”

Lovely and modern looking apartment, convenient location (close to shops/bus stops/bars/town centre, etc.), good facilities, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, very nice and accommodating lady owner.

Apartment is very close to the clock tower so it rings every hour indicating the time (and also plays short melodies every 15 minutes during the day), that's why this apartment wouldn't be recommended for a light sleeper or someone easily annoyed by this kind of interruptions.
No wi-fi connection downstairs in the bedroom.
Steep stairs to the bedroom/bathroom.
No heating - radiators didn't work for some reason so it was a bit chilly.
No shelf in the bathroom to put your toothbrush/toothpaste and other cosmetics on.
