Fantastic property. Can't fault it. Lovely room, everything provided for you. Great ethos behind it too, they grow much of their own organic fruit, veg and of course spices make their own compost and recycle everything. They only cook with food within a 50 mile radius. And the food is wonderful. Staff are fantastic, cannot do enough for you (special thanks to Renju!) The room is comfortable, and large, with a fridge tea and coffee and snacks. The room comes with a fan, which is very strong, absolutely kept me cool enough. It is cooler here anyway no aircon needed. The grounds are stunning full of chipmunks, monkeys, and Guinea fowl. It really is heavenly. You can wonder into town too which is just a few minutes walk away. They organise treks, which I very much enjoyed. Indian hospitality at its finest!

Among the most beautiful places I have stayed in. Very welcoming staff. Special call out to Ms. Akhila, Mr. Albin Thomas(Naturalist ) , Mr. Marimutuhu(Laundary), Mr Venkat(Restaurant ) and Mr. Francis(club house) for making our stay more pleasant. The hotel has amazing cook and I recommend travellers to try food within the property. The prices are little on the higher side but the property makes sure to provide utmost hygiene.

Wonderful huts to stay in with a very well maintained area. The staff were very relaxed and felt genuine.
There is a big focus on working with the environment which really shows and well worth taking the free site tours to see all the work they do to have a very minimal impact.
There are many things included like daily yoga and afternoon tea.
The town and shops can be walked to with ease.
Could not recommend it more!

If you are a person who connects with nature, this could be an option to explore. It’s is located just next to the Periyar National Park. The property has around 100 different varieties of trees and plants, it’s own Kitchen garden. Most of the vegetables, spices etc are grown within the property.

The room was specious, well maintained. They have a naturalist who guides on various activities to be done in the national park. Also take time to have a tour of the property with the naturalist and paper making.

Staff at the resort is helpful, we here guided on the choice of trek to be done. Food is excellent with lots of variety. It has two restaurants one of which uses all items grown within 50 miles range, especially from the local tribal people.

It could be a perfect place if someone is looking to take a break on an extended weekend. It has an indoor playing area, swimming pool, Ayurveda centre and other sports activity.

Room tip: Parking is available, food quantity is large so be mindful when you order.
