This is a place to visit if you love nature.
The host Mr Abraham is very friendly guy and is enthusiast in showing around his garden.
He has some endangered species of plants.
It's a worth walk to take!

It is the garden of a family since years. The man leads you throw it and makes you taste everything and also gives explanations about all the plants and spices : the use, the effects on the body, etc. He takes a lot of time and answers all your questions. He also has a shop with all spices from his garden

Abraham has an amazing variety of interesting plants and he knows everything there is to know about each one. The sights and aromas give you a true sensory experience as you make your way around this beautiful garden. Abraham's passion for plants is so apparent and he takes time to explain anything you may wish to know on a relaxing, slow-paced tour. We simply walked in off the road and he was happy to show us around. We were so impressed with this interesting man. Highly recommended!

Interesting & informative guided walk through the plantation. So surprising to see such variety of plants & spices growing in the relatively small area that we covered. There is also a shop to buy the fresh spices.

No visit to Thekkady is complete without a trip to this spice garden. It is not very big so you can easily walk through in an hour. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and engaging and makes the tour really interesting. There is an abundance of spices in the garden and, if like me you are a foodie, it is very exciting to see the spices in their natural state.
