Whenever I write a review, I never try to bash the resort. Things just are what they are when you are on vacation. Hey, you're on vacation, so make lemonade out of the lemons. But in this case, NOT.
Pros: The beaches are beautiful. resort grounds are extremely well-kept. Service for the most part was great. Resort is beautiful. Our housekeeper was amazing.
Cons. Arrived to a leaking room. Didn't get resolved for 3 days. Because of a group of 1300 scheduled to come on the second day, was told we could not change room. This is not even close to a 5-star hotel. Maybe 3. Needs tons of repair work. Tiles missing in pool. Jets not working in jacuzzi. Railing leading into pool broken (someone is going to get hurt). Rooms need serious cleaning and repair. Ceiling leak marks all over. Floor in bathroom has dirt ground into the tiles. Negril and Mo'Bay food is not good. Same thing every day. Not hot. Ate in 4 of 10 restaurants. Food just ok. This service is great if you are being helped, but ask a question and you a "don't bother me answer". Staff needs to understand that keeping the resort clean in everybodys responsibiilty. i watched several workers past a plate of food that was left in the middle of the walkway. When i pointed it out to someone who was 10 feet away, the said "ok, I'll get someone to pick it up. WHAT??? I just picked it up.
This resort is EXTREMELY LARGE. If you don't like walking, do go here.
I would honestly say, your money would be better spent at another resort. We stayed at another resort recently, for less money, and it was 10 times better than this one.
