We booked the apartment as part of a get-away with extended family. I can honestly say that the photos don't do the place justice!
The view across the bay is exquisite from both the kitchen and the living room. The apartment is lovely and large so we didn't feel on top of each other at any point (which is quite something with a newborn).
Our host looked after us from the moment we made the booking. She kept in touch with us throughout to make sure we were warm enough (the Beast from the East reared its head again) and had everything we needed for our stay.
We loved it so much, we have already looked at a return visit!
Llanstefan is a lovely traditional village, it is very relaxed, two restaurants only serve food Friday and Saturdays! There are two other pubs, a village shop and a cafe along with a great fish & chip "hut" on the sea front (opens as long as it's not raining). Lovely walks from your doorstep, either coastal or into the wooded areas to reach the wishing well or castle.
Innisfree house is a home from home, it's exceptionally clean and well maintained, the majority of the property has recently undergone a very high quality refurbishment. Remaining areas (kitchen and utility) are still very acceptable.
Fantastic beds, linen, showers, and comfortable lounge furniture. Modern entertainment systems, Wii console, DVDs, books toys games all for your use. High quality outdoor furniture on the large balcony, eating fish and chips here one evening while watching the rowing club completing their practise out in the bay was a highlight.
Outdoor pool was lovely, along with communal garden areas which were very well presented.
We visited the botanical gardens, (about 20 mins away) all three generations of our party were suitably impressed.
We had a fantastic meal at the Farmers arms in the next village, the best thai food ever, a gem in rural Wales!
Hope to return and see the finished refurbishment project next year :)
