We stayed there for one night and biked to the Borobudur which was really close. This way we could be there at 6 and beat the crowd. Friendly staff who stayed there until we arrived late in the evening. Great breakfast. Only thing missing in the room is a washing basin but that's fine for one night.

Stayed here for a night only but it was definitely a great experience. The property is just minutes away from Candi Borobodur. If you're the type who likes a peaceful and local experience then this the place for you as it's in a quiet neighborhood.

The staff are accommodating and always willing to help. The interiors are really beautiful too, it has modern conveniences yet Indonesian art is very much present.

Overall, a good value for money.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. We got a room for three people. The room is quite big. Bed was comfortable. There is a set of unique chairs and table. The bathroom is okay but we had to wait for a while for the water to get warm. There is a sink but the layout is a bit annoying.

The service is good. You can ask the staff to buy food for you for either lunch or dinner as the homestay is quite far from restaurants. They provide breakfast (standard). They have bikes to rent if you want to explore the surroundings including Borobudur temple.

The staffs are friendly. You can also learn to make batik at the 'pendopo'. The woman (Tari) will teach you how to make batik. There is also display of batik in the living room and we got to meet the designer who actually designed our cloths for batik making. We also met the owner who are also very friendly and nice. We exchanged ideas and information.

The homestay also provides pick up service to and from the hotel to the airport or hotels in Yogyakarta. We got a very nice driver and we ended up renting the car again with the same driver to go to Posong in Temanggung and Puthuk Setumbu.

I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to visit Borobudur and I would love to go back there again sometime.

The room was okay , but there was a continuous water leak on the bathroom floor. And the artisans were very helpful and friendly, near small shop have home cooked meals.
But the receptionist was a con man , I think he change me too much for the evening trip to see the near by Temple.

Room Tip: The room facing pond is good

We stayed here for one night to enable us to visit Borobudur for sunrise. An excellent little place with comfy rooms. Yes, the bathroom is particularly small and has no sink, but it is a wet room and the shower has a tap, so really not an issue. The free bike hire allowed us to easily and safely cycling to Borobudur in the pitch black (they also provided torches). They were particularly accommodation with the bikes even allowing us to use them to get some lunch after we had checked out.

We even ended up getting involved in some batik whilst waiting for our driver!

I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone wanting to visit Borobudur.
