Horrible resort...cabins hv no privacy at all...stupid neighbors bothering us when we were using the jacuzzi at night...the villas have no walls separating them...food was horrible...very poor...low qual8ty...pools were súper dirty...would not come back...if u are charging a really high price for a villa with a jacuzzi, at least ,put a wall to separate the 2 villas or a private entrance for each villa...no privacy whatsoever...have never seen this in any resort in my life..horrible n too expensive...will never come back

We would also like to inform you that, as far as cleaning is concerned, we have a housekeeper and approved supervisors in charge of supervising the daily cleaning. We take very seriously the welfare of our customers and that is why cleanliness is essential.
Our clients' suggestions are our most precious weapon for improvement. Little by little, thanks to the suggestions of our customers, we are improving and we are right now improving all the services and facilities for the next season. We hope that if you give us the opportunity again, you will be able to appreciate it for yourself and give us your comments again. We would have loved to hear your suggestions which we will of course consider in our improvement program.

We stayed here for 4 nights after having to move from our original hotel - due to no fault of our own.

To start, the reception and check in staff are lovely and friendly and they do check in with you throughout your holiday to check everything is okay.

The pools are really good - lots of choice and the thing I really liked about this hotel was that there were lots of life guards watching every part of the pool and they were making sure everyone was okay and no one pushed in the queue and were always friendly with the children.

The pool opened from 10am and we could always get a sun bed, although some do leave towels on the best ones.

Food - good with lots of variety and most the time we never had to queue to get in and or wait long for food. The snack bar wasn’t very nice - but that was only open a few hours. The only thing with the food outlets was the time they were supposed to open - they never opened on time - every time we were left waiting around 10 minutes. The canteen also had a lot of birds flying around inside and bird poo on the side which put us off a bit.

All inclusive drinks - lots of choice and variety. Cocktails were ok - were premixed and the cup situation isn’t good - so on your first day you buy every one in your party a plastic cup - they they reuse to fill your drink with. So if you loose your cup or leave at pool or forget it you have to buy a new one.

Entertainment - for us this let the hotel down. One night we watched a magic show and it was in Spanish - no translating to English. So we’re left guessing what was going on. They have a children’s party for an hour I think from 8-9pm. There are lots of extras available to book like lazer quest and rock climbing which the kids loved and the staff were lovely there.

Rooms nice and just what we needed. Children aged 13 and 10 loved that they had their separate bathroom.

We wouldn’t stay again, because it wasn’t what we had booked, we got moved here but only because of location - we wanted to be near the beach and shops and this is a bit isolated but it was a nice place for the 4 nights and if you like to just stay on site it would be perfect.

Adding review here as the Facebook group only let you post positive reviews! Be warned!

Arrived at midnight via transfer which was on time and quick. Dumped on the side of the road with two small children and no help with cases. Not sure why the coach couldn’t have gone into the entrance? Had to navigate pitch black road with luggage and tired children. Not fun.
Arrived at reception and met by a man who clearly wanted to go to bed and was inconvenienced by our arrival. Checked us in and said come back tomorrow.
Golf buggy took us to our room where we were helped with bags and told about the fridge being stocked etc. on checking the fridge, nothing in there, no water etc. husband had to go and buy some from the vending machine. Not the best first impression.

Accommodation- lacking. It’s tiny (Nottingham two bed) A random kitchen with no utensils (would be better used as storage) Bathroom is tiny and shower is very small with no shelf for shower gels etc. the walls are paper thin and the ceilings all have cracks around the light fittings. We also had ants in the bathroom and saw a cockroach late one evening. It gave me Butlins vibes. Massively needs renovation. Outside veranda is ok but not very private.

Food - lots of choice. Cooked meat, fish. Salad, breads and cheese and a kids section. Something for everyone. We all came down with a sickness bug on day two. Not sure if it was a bug or poisoning, but it put us right off the food for the rest of the stay. It wiped us out for the entire week. There are a lot of birds in the Golden Arrow which I appreciate is probably hard to police! But not the most hygienic.
The Italian restaurant pizza was good.

Reception- can’t get in touch with them easily. It would have been handy to be able to pick up a phone and call them rather than everything being done via the app. Also, wifi didn’t work well.

Pools- great! Really good lifeguards and despite what some say about being whistle happy, I liked how they operated and kept everyone in line. Slides were great and I liked the grass covering to prevent slipping. The kids pool footing I found a bit uneven and sharp in places.

Medieval show- good although about half an hour too long. Mostly in Spanish but you can follow the story easily enough. Our kids really enjoyed it.

General entertainment was ok, yes it’s on later but didn’t bother us too much. The reptile show wasn’t great, couldn’t really see the reptiles and they played stupidly loud music when showing the reptiles and high was a bit strange.

Shop- handy and we bought crisps and biscuits as so Ill following bug. Yes expensive, but ok in an emergency.

Reception- good when a member of our party had an injury and really helped sort out medical care.

Overall - would we go again? No. It doesn’t compare to an equivalent in Turkey or Greece. Basic (cheaper) rooms way too small with lack of storage, cleanliness and no wow factor ( don’t be fooled by the YouTube video!) food- ok but appreciate my view is clouded due to bug. Plastic cup system for drinks at pool is strange.

As travelers accustomed to luxury accommodations, we arrived at Magic Robin Hood with some apprehension, given the mixed reviews we'd seen. However, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience, which exceeded our expectations in many ways.

Upon arrival, we were delighted to be upgraded to the Lionheart Premium Lodges, which were not only spacious and immaculately clean but also conveniently located near the quiet pool. This was a perfect spot for relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas. The lodges themselves were well-appointed, featuring large, modern bathrooms with top-of-the-range waterfall showers—a nice touch that added a bit of luxury to our stay.

We opted for the Ultimate All-Inclusive (UAI) package for an additional €200, which allowed us access to several extra restaurants. The Italian restaurant and Friar Tuck's were particular highlights, each earning a solid 8/10 from us. As wine enthusiasts who regularly enjoy Chateau Neuf du Pape, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the red wine served in all the restaurants—a commendable offering for an all-inclusive resort.

The resort itself is impressively clean, and our two 14-year-old boys were kept thoroughly entertained with the array of activities available. From the water park to rifle shooting, archery, football, and tennis, there was never a dull moment for them. It’s worth noting that you should bring some cash, as the on-site ATMs were not operational, and our kids wanted to spend time in the evening arcades.

One minor inconvenience was the cup card system, which, while understandable, was a bit of a hassle to manage. However, the positives far outweighed this. Breakfast was excellent, with service extending until 11 AM, and the snack bars around the resort were also impressive. We particularly appreciated the quiet area with plenty of sunbeds, some even positioned in the water for a truly relaxing experience. On the other hand, the Waterpark pool was very loud and crowded, something to keep in mind if you’re seeking tranquility.

The staff throughout the resort were exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The only real downside was the delay in receiving our deposits back (which I still haven’t received) for the cray golf (€20) and towels (€80), which is frustrating and detracts from an otherwise great stay.

In conclusion, while Magic Robin Hood may not be the place for a long luxury getaway or main family holiday, it’s an excellent option for a 4-5 day break, especially if you have active children. The combination of clean, comfortable accommodation, good food, and a wide range of activities makes it a solid choice for a family holiday. We left with fond memories and would consider returning for a short, action-packed escape.

Very good, overall really glad we went, I think we ended up paying more for it than I would have liked but I'll expand on that a little bit more below as mostly my own fault!

Booking

We booked direct with the hotel as this seemed the cheaper option compared to jet2 or other travel agents. We booked a Robin hood garden lodge with hot tub ultra all inclusive. I'm not sure this ended up being cheaper for us- although when you book direct your shuttle from the airport is free, we had a lot of trouble booking this as I couldn't find our flight number far in advance. It wouldn't let me book the shuttle without the flight number, and the live chat service was very spotty so couldn't get in touch with the hotel to resolve. By the time I had the flight number, the website said it was too late to book shuttle and to ring the company, and despite ringing both the hotel and the transfer company, it didn't get sorted. We ended up trying to use local buses to get to the hotel - we ended up on the Spanish equivalent of a mega bus, and ended up in Valencia, watching magic Robin hood disappear on Google maps in front of our eyes as we whizzed past it. So, a warning 😂 we also couldn't book the transfer back, as reception told us to ring the Magic company and everything was in Spanish. So a bit of a faff, but we managed! But next time I would use a travel agent, especially if youre travelling with kids.

Arrival

We arrived (from Valencia...) at around 2pmish. Checked in straight away and lodge was ready, we got a buggy ride straight to our lodge and the driver was very friendly and offered us a tour.

Resort is big, and I thought it was quite lovely actually. It was like a little holiday village rather than a hotel, definitely more of a 'resort'. Not dissimilar to Haven/butlins in the UK, but a lot bigger and with a lot more facilities.

Accomodations:

Lodge was great- no issues at all. Had a lovely little garden area to sit and a hot tub. Not too private as overlooked by other lodges, and I was a bit unsure on the boundaries of our garden compared to our neighbors, but nothing to complain about.

Inside was great, air con is absolutely fantastic and so refreshing to walk into. Double bathrooms which was again fantastic and kids bunk bed in the living room.

Be careful as the door doesn't lock from the inside- I awoke to our 4 year old who had opened the door, sitting on the patio. Very easy for them to open.

Mini bar is refreshed with cold pop everyday which our little one adored. We got into a little routine of coming back to the room on an afternoon to a cold room, place to chill, and cold restocked drinks. I definitely spent more time in our accomodation than I would normally on holiday, and it became part of what I enjoyed. Very useful if you have little ones as they can relax inside in the cool while you're on the patio/hot tub/ having some decompress time. Same on the night time: our daughter is too young to stay up too late, so when she was asleep it was brilliant to have somewhere to relax knowing she was safe.

Kids club

Again, excellent, couldn't have asked for more. It's near the entrance to the complex, and children age 4+ can be left unattended. Two sessions run a day: 10-1 and 3-6. Kids can go to one or both, the activity schedule for that day is posted outside. I think it is Thursday's they do the 'mini chef ' experience - they made a chef hat with my daughter then took her to go and make treats! She adored the days she did go. There is an air con room and garden for them to play and staff are absolutely fantastic. You sign them in and out and do not have to prebook. Staff are fantastic and knew her by name, spoke English and Spanish. I felt like she was cared for when she was there and I recognized the staff from the entertainment team. You don't have to pay extra, and as parents who rarely have alone time- this was absolutely invaluable for some time together and I was so grateful it existed and was safe.

Food

Standard all inclusive. My husband and daughter always found something to eat, I have sensory differences so struggled a bit but always found something to eat. There's sausages on a morning, eggs, bacon etc. There are pancakes but they seem reheated not fresh, and same for the waffles in the food trucks. There is always chips, garlic bread, plain pasta etc. I did notice that there were often flies near the desserts/ fruit but I put this down to the heat. Maybe a cover for some of the fruit could be useful? It did put me off eating some of it, but I washed fruit for my daughter to be safe and we managed. I would recommend the pizza delivery on the night time, we did this nearly every night. Felt really good relaxing on the patio and having food delivered ! And was always a safe bet if there wasn't much choice at tea. Food trucks were good, hot dogs burgers chips. Sometimes burgers seemed a little rare for my liking but they were safe. Robin hood cafe was good for burgers but again a bit too rare for me, Italians was good, didn't use any of the others!

Entertainment

Didn't use the night time entertainment much as was a bit late for us- we did see the parrot show but I felt a little uncomfortable.

If you have a lodge near the main pool as we did, there is evening entertainment beside there and it is LOUD - use white noise for kids. Quite nice to listen to from a hot tub though!

Daytime entertainment was great, enjoyed the aerobics in the pool. Game room was fun and has VR which is good to try for the experience.

We mainly spent evenings out the front of the resort - there is a park and the adults only gin bar is there too. There are Bali beds opposite the park so you can sit and watch your kids from there, which we did with a drink. It was a lovely end to the night.

Drinks

We didn't drink much, but what we did drink was great- you can ask for alcohol with the slushes and Malibu and a strawberry slushie was my favorite. Gin bar will make what you like and it is branded, as are the other bars. Cocktail menus are available.

Soft drinks are branded and there is some self serve dotted around.

Pools

Main pool is where the slides are and it's never too busy to queue, there is music playing here. Always plenty of beds but depends on how close to the water you want to be. We never struggled to find one close. There is a splash pad for kids, a soft play and multiple little play areas in the water. There is a quieter pool by the back of the resort which has a swim up bar and another kids play area in the water.

Excursions

We only went to the terra natura aqua park. We avoided the zoo area as had read a lot of reviews of animals looking mistreated. We used the aqua park briefly but they charged us for a sunbed and food was very expensive. You could rent floats or queue in a longer queue for them. We didn't stay long at all and it was 15 euro each way to get there, and nowhere accomodated our request for an infant seat despite offering this. Definitely not worth it for us, if I could do it again I'd use the free shuttle to a hotel near the beach and use the all inclusive food at one of the hotels. The facilities at our hotel were better!

Overall

Would go again, plenty for kids, accomodation and entertainment great, food is okay and there are options. I think we payed a lot for this due to poor planning on our part + summer hols.

Overall we really enjoyed it and I know

Dear customer,
We would like to thank you for your cooperation by sending us the evaluation of your stay and the points that you have observed that could be improved, as your comments help us to continue to be leaders in the sector.
On the day of your arrival at the establishment we give you a welcome letter, where we inform you about FORMULA 24 and FORMULA POST 24 for situations similar to the one you have told us about, and so that during your stay you can inform us about any deficiencies you find and they can be solved while you enjoy your holidays, but not after them, as it helps to improve the holidays of future clients but not your own.
Check-in and check-out times are set in accordance with the Valencian Community regulations for establishments in our category. Although the official timetable is 17:00, we always deliver our cabins before this time, and in the meantime, our clients can make use of all our facilities and services as a courtesy of the hotel. On the day of departure, check out of the room is at 10:00 a.m., and the all-inclusive service ends at 12:00 noon on the day of departure, as indicated on our website and on the voucher that the client receives when the booking is formalised. As it is a large complex, it is difficult to remember all the information, for this reason, on arrival, the client also receives a welcome letter with all the information about the complex, opening hours and activities. Next to the reception there is a 2x2 sign indicating that there is a daily presentation of the resort from 10:00 to 18:00 hours, in the lounge next to the Reception called Lady Marian.
