A real insight into an every day item. The history of the shoe and beginnings of Clarks was very interesting.
The array of historical shoe, it has blown me away. Being a massive shoe fanatic, it shows how we have become who we are to day. Taking the humble shoe for granted.
It was amazing that this was also free to visit and enter.
If you have a spare hour make sure you pay the museum a visit

Found the shoe museum on our way back from hols. It was fabulous, although very few men’s shoes appear to have survived .

Probably the best collection of shoes in the UK. A fantastic range of shoes through centuries and sparked childhood meteorites with Clark’s sandals

Visited here on a school trip many years ago. Good location and attracts attention from non local residents.
