Probably the best collection of shoes in the UK. A fantastic range of shoes through centuries and sparked childhood meteorites with Clark’s sandals

Was staying the night in Street and in the morning came across the Clark shoe museum . Free entry to an excellent presentation of the doe industry. Loads of exhibits with shoes recognised from my childhood . Plenty of interaction for kids included ,

Wow! Some really beautiful exhibits in here. A wonderful history of our footwear through the years. I especially liked the ones from the Art Deco period. It's a shame that Clark's shoes are no longer made in Great Britain, but there are plans 'afoot' to manufacture their famous Desert Boots over here again. I loved all the adverts too. If you visit Street then you must make time to visit this museum. Don't spend all of your time in the shopping outlet down the road! Free entry.
