We took our four children on vacation and stayed several nights at Clara Beach. It was truly one of the best vacations we have ever had! The food was incredible, the staff very friendly. They arranged for a boat tour to outlying islands, and even rented us a motorcycle for a couple of days. It felt like home, and we were so sad to leave. My children keep asking to go back!

We stay only one night there. I booked thrue Agoda an aircon room, but in fact it was a bamboo room with no ceiling and no windows, just curtains, so quite useless for the aircon. You felt from time to time a small breeze but when it is 36 degrees outside....... You should not advertise this room as an aircon room, try it out yourself and you understand what im am talking about. The price i can't complain for 1430 it was a good deal. The food was really nice, perfect! Lasange a dream, chicken adobo, fishsoup all very very good and tasty. Table service was poor, no good appetite, no asking if all ok, no thank you. Just like eat and go. Room was not clean upon arrival, had to ask change beddings cause dirty and also the bathroom was not clean. I understand that is a nipa hut, but shower with sand from the previous guests, that should not be. The location is 10 out of 10. Prices very affordable. Very nice different style of huts. Would like to give more points, but cleanliness and aircon were to big issues for us. The famale owner was very nice, the male one roaming around with no tshirt in the kitchen had no time for the guests.

Accessibility: 45 min travel from the Jordan wharf; 350 pesos for a tricycle. There's a sign along the road to the whereabout of the resort and a just a few minutes you will find the entrance.

Accommodation: affordable rooms. We got a hut for 750 a night through agoda. Most are fanroom huts and with no aircons but comfy enough. Bring insect repellants to keep the bugs away.

Beach: the sand is not as powdery white compared with other beaches but it is light brown, with clear waters. The front beach has mangroves and has a short shoreline

Ambience: 2 thumbs up. I like the design of the huts, the peaceful surroundings and the small pool at the center of the resort. You can hear birds chirping in the morning and Its nice to sit on the small canopies with a cold beer. The dining hall roof is shaped like a sting ray. Really cool.

Food: 2 thumbs up. The British owner prepares the food himself assisted by a few staff. Very nice choices for the menu, good quality cooking, They have a small bar and they have coffee, tea, and desserts. Also their kitchen is very well equipped with facilities. Amazing.

The resort owners were very friendly and assists your every need. The staff were also very polite. Good ambience (instagram worthy), quality food and affordable place to stay.

Stayed for 1 night. Food was delicious and western in style. The place was quiet. Owner and staff were accomodating. A little tricky going in from the main road but wasn’t so bad. I suggest to have better locks in the rooms for security reasons.

Our stay in Clara Beach was fabulous! The place was simple but elegant. Food was great! Staff are friendly with smile on their faces. Bena (the owner) was so accommodating. Definitely will go back to this place if I’ll be in Guimaras.
But the beach is not good for swimming ‍♀️ though because its more on mangroves and its far from the other side of beaches. But if you need serene place to relax go for The Clara Beach!
