5th time we’ve stayed here in 3 years and the first time we’ve encountered more than the odd niggling problem.
Arrived to check-in at 9pm with very tired young children after a 6am start and half a day in Disney. There was an unusually large amount of people queuing and we soon found out why. The hotel had overbooked a number of suites, generally booked by families and were struggling to find them alternative accommodation. After almost 2hrs waiting we were told our only option was to take two connecting studios.
It was far from ideal, no room/table for us all to sit down together and we had to separate one parent with each child as the design of the studios meant the connecting doors couldn’t remain open without blocking access to the toilet.
The AC was also broken, the entire hotel was roasting hot to the point we were all flushed.
We usually love staying here as it’s so handy for Disney and the rooms are decent, but the fiasco we witnessed this week and the attitude of some members of staff dealing with rightly annoyed guests has most definitely put us off staying here again though.More
