I chose to stay here for access and enjoyment of the beach. Unfortunately, hurricane damage was still being addressed, which left their beach access and pool inaccessible. I'm at least glad that the public access is still near where it's still accessible in a short walk. My only concern with this is wishing their members could have suggested this public access instead of telling me that there was no access, leaving me with the task to find it. Overall, cleanliness was fine, but would benefit with more attention to table surfaces being cleaned and the bathroom properly. The hotel furnishing and devices do show a mix of needed upgrades and proper touch ups. For example, the phone system is clearly 90s to early 2000s and could use some updating not just because of visual, but also functionality. Their TV showed this as well, with the optional inputs available being only pre-HDMI. One of my two biggest nuances also ended up being the glass bathroom door and faucet not being properly installed, causing the functionality to barely be there. They are small details, but they are a bit disappointing considering these appear to have been recent upgrades they made but were not thoroughly planned out or cheaply contracted. Aside from that, the service and attention was good, their complementary breakfast was great and their beach views, even on the partial view rooms, were amazing.
