Came upon this gem by chance as daughter had visited the bay before and tried a different cafe. The menu showing today's offerings sounded fab so we gave it a try. There was three soups, pasta, risotto and garlic prawns which looked like specials for the day but also the 'usuals' of Eggs Benedict and other breakfast choices; fish pie, other pies and a Mac Cheese option-awesome choice for anywhere, let alone this small bayside eatery. We went for fish pie and the eggs. My pie was more a fish of tasty snapper and amazing veg-the odd chunk of potato but it was all about the tasty bowlful; I think best ever! Daughter rated her eggs pretty highly too. Lady host only wanted to please and certainly did. Would only say her 'Flat Whites' were more like really good black coffee with hot milk-I enjoyed! They also do home cooked meals to go, fresh made bread and veg and fruit. What a resource for the locals and a joy to enjoy for the visitor.
