I spent 3 nights here while I was sourcing ceramics and found it to be ideal in every way. The location was perfect for my requirements near the top of La Scala it meant I was close to some of the best ceramic shops in town and had the benefit of a good work out each day - those steps are amazing!
The room was large, modern, very comfortable, and spotless. Donatello and her husband were very kind and gracious hosts and accommodated my needs perfectly.
Without fault it was an exceptional BnB

We stayed here 3 nights as part of a cycling holiday. The owners were lovely and arranged one of the biggest most enjoyable feasts I have ever eaten for our last night. The breakfast every day was another feast in itself!

Fabulous cafe/restaurant and shop.
Old fashioned hospitality in surprisingly modern surroundings.
Tucked away off the famous steps in town, it's well worth a stop off on the way up (or down!)
Love it!

Great comfort and hospitality in lovely elegant surroundings met us when we checked in
on a rainy night. Great accommodations - stylish and spotless. Giuseppe and Donatella
could not have been better hosts.

This charming little two-roomed b&b is run by a family team who could not be more friendly and solicitous. They are also generous, giving us coffee on arrival and coffee and pastries on our departure - they would not take the money we offered to pay for the latter. English is not spoken much, but communication nevertheless seems to occur effortlessly. The family booked us a meal (thank goodness they did, the restaurant was completely fulll) at a superb fish restaurant a few minutes walk away - one of the best meals we had on the island. The room is large, nicely furnished and very reasonably priced. The bathroom is a bit spartan, and the owners need to put in a few more toiletries and such essentials as glasses for the night. The breakfast is simple but pleasant. The hotel is located actually on the amazing steps which form one of the main attractions of the little town. We parked in a side-street just on the other side of the steps, which required some serious manouevring in the tiny lanes and allleys. Caltagirone makes a good base to visit the Roman mosaics outside Piazza Armerina, and is itself a pleasant small town to wander around. If you can track it down, there is also a Rogier van der Weyden altarpiece somewhere in the town.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms!
