Hotel Rainbow Suites is one of the best business class hotels in the Kannur city, just opposite to the railway station. The standard AC Room where I stayed was spacious and clean. They provided mineral water in the room. The complimentary breakfast with various South Indian and North Indian dishes was tasty. The service staffs were so friendly and helpful.

Not a good hotel. Much noise. Not friendly here and dirty. Lots of disturbances.
We change rooms, still noise. Stupid staffs. Close to Kannur and station, but traffic noise.
Food not good. Happy to have our money then forget you.
All rooms face a central echo chamber and noisy function room.
Shocking noise. Avoid it.
No sleep for us.
First room 301 had 1 sq metre of wall mildew/mould.

Located just near the fort in city,the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality.The hotel owner is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay.The staffs were very helpful.The hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms. thankssss
Had a good stay at this hotel. The room was large, comfortable and well maintained.
The restaurant was decent enough but spoilt by a chap that insisted on slopping his mop around every time we went in for something to eat. The food was good though with some lovely items for breakfast, Wada, Uthapam, Idly, Samber, etc.
The staff were very helpful but the reception check-in could be improved. Had to ask too many questions which was a fair indication they were not doing their job.
It has a good position not far from the Railway Station (Not opposite as advised on their website) and there are plenty of shopping options on the doorstep.
There were some renovations taking place but not enough to really notice or spoil the stay.
I think overall it deserves a "Good" rating but that was not available and the average rating was a little too low.

" Very poor service. We check-in by around 5pm. We were allotted deluxe room 217 but later found AC was not working. Switch boards and electric connections at the headrest of the Bedding was loose and giving a lot of electric sparks. That experience was really scary that anytime an electric fire could happen. Hotel staff shifted us to room 215 which was smaller one, relatively. However in the middle of night AC broke down in that room too. Staff at reception was irresponsible. No response from the staff or maintenance team in spite of giving repeated complaints to reception. Bathrooms are shabby and leaking pipe fittings. Emergency Evacuation plan shown on room no 215 was that of Room number 212. This is to be looked at as a major safety concern. Staff at restaurant was cordial and food served was good. Web site of the hotel says pick up and drop service from railway station however they refused to offer this service saying vehicle is available but drivers are not available. On repeated requests, hotel staff agreed to arrange taxi from railway station for whopping charge of Rs 250. We could take an auto-rickshaw for just Rs 30 from railway station. Hotel misguided us on the food policy. Initially they told there was complimentary breakfast but later at the time of check out they charged us with breakfast bills. In fact they enclosed breakfast food bills printed subsequently and not signed by us. That was a disheartening stay at rainbow suites. "
