Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for one day in July 2019 during our visit to Mridanga Saileswari Temple. We stayed in the deluxe ac room and the stay was quite comfortable. The room service was very good and timely. The food was very tasty. Less than 15 minutes to the Kannur airport. Desk manager Lal was very polite and he even extended our check out time from 12 to 3pm. The temple was around 45 minutes journey. Overall a pleasant stay

was there during my project work for Kannur airport. actually this is only decent hotel near to the airport. But they need to work hard on the breakfast offerings. generally it served cold and no body listen to you.
Rooms are quite big and comfortable.
Overall okay kind of experience
Very clean rooms, excellent staff and a cozy place... a perfect combination for a short holiday...just minutes away from the Kannur airport...also great food ...will definitely stay here next time I travel to Mattanur...I must try their ayurveda massages next time

They have small rooms which is just about adequate for two in the old wing
There are large rooms in the new wing

I have stayed in this hotel about five times during the past six months. Sometimes with family, alone or with spouse.
Every single time, it has been great. Consistent service, CLEAN rooms & public areas (a rarity in this part of the world!), very good South Indian & a la carte cuisine, excellent Breakfast, courteous staff ... And very good pricing. The food costs might be about 40-50% cheaper than any metro city in India but the quality for the kind of food is similar or more authentic!
All in all a winner!
All other hotels in the area are either in business, for their Alcohol business (BAR ATTACHED! - A BIG deal in God's own country - Kerala! 😊) or are just there for making money... No feeling for the customer OR for the hospitality industry.
And most importantly, this Hotel is just about 10-15 minutes away from the NEW Kannur International Airport , on the Mattanur - Tellicherry highway.
I congratulate the Management for sustaining the hygiene , consistency of delivery and quality of food / service. I just pray that they will STAY DIFFERENT from other hoteliers in the region, who just change completely as soon as they see money coming in!
I believe this hotel will just ROCK once the business peaks, with the launch of the International Airport, which is expected in 2-3 months.
Sorry, one more important point: Authentic Ayurvedic massages available including the traditional Kalari massage! I tried the Kalari massage once and it was brilliant.
This Resort is located in Mattanur about 27 kms from Kannur. This is a very small resort with a 24hrs restaurant & ayurvedic treatment facility. This place is suitable only for people who come for treatment, please note no other facility available inside the resort campus. The rooms are quite big with average cleanliness(Don;t expect star hotel ambiance or cleanliness). The mattress was hard with oil stains on the bed cover & bathroom hygiene was OK. The rooms doesn't offer any good views as the facility is located in middle of a residential area. No recreation facilities like pool, play area etc. The restaurant food was decent but please note there is no alternate options available in the nearby area for food. You may have to travel for 1 to 1.5 hrs to reach Kannur. .I will not recommend this hotel to people who is visiting this place for recreation, this place is suitable for people undergoing ayurvedic treatments. I personally tried the varma massage at the facility & it was very good.
