Good property, needs upkeep
The property is really good. But post the lockdowns it looks a bit rundown. The rooms are spacious and have good views, but also have a musty smell at times. The toilets are jaded and feel old. Thankfully there was renovation work going on. But then it’s also very affordable for what they offer.
Food was a bad experience though. At least one dish had to be sent back for not being fresh.

We had our family reunion here for two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wonderful property with abundant opportunity for entertainment. Food was good, though we had limited options due to budget constraints. Julie and her team was very helpful at the restaurant.
Sad to see the resort is not earning out of out points, management should work towards it. I suggest It is important to invest in delighting customer in hand first to attract new customers.
Located on nearly 11 acres of landscaped land with a water lagoon in the property and all that Kannur can offer, its a beautiful place to spend a long weekend or a long holiday, Its house boat with a capacity of 30 plus is its USP, The cottages are all river facing, the cusine is wonderful and all amenities including the cashew shaped swimming pool is a wonderful place to chill.....
Excellent views from rooms; clean rooms ; very good staff; Arrange veg food on request. No care taker at pool side so no one follow the rule off pool. Must add in you trip to kannur stay; 10km away from kannur.
I sent my clients for a full day houseboat cruise with lunch included and they really loved the cruise and the food too. So if any one would like to take a cruise which is less touristic, with family and friends, then I would surely recommend the boat of Kairali Heritage.
No staff in restaurant in night shift no water to drink in dinner for groups smartway conference.... We ask atlist give some water to drink . he told no water ... 3 star resort standard is gone ... Very poor service.......
