We were stranded here for several days due to uprisings in the southeast. It's a pleasant place and the birdlife is spectacular. The room was nice and the porch was a good place to sit and enjoy the views. We enjoyed the restaurant and the large patio, too. The lodge is a bit run down and more attention should be given to the spa and the equipment that is for rent. The spa is in grave need of repair and all of the bikes, etc. are broken or in sad shape.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. Room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable. Food was good. The staffs were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Amazing places to stay and to see the various Ethiopian tribes in this area.
3 nights in this hotel is just what our group needed. There were some deficiencies but a nice pool and a rest well deserved. The food menu is quite scarce. We ate exactly the same thing for 9 meals in a row.
