We had visited a few years ago so didn't bother to check the website, so we were a little puzzled when we arrived to find the old station had gone. There is now a shuttle bus service to the new temporary start point, and the bonus is a short but entertaining tour of the depot.
We rode on the top deck, which was a bit breezy, but the views along the estuary, and all the bird life are terrific. The climb up to the top deck is a bit narrow due to the scaled down dimensions of the trams. If you have time the short walk into Colyton is worth doing. There are places to eat there but we had the cream tea in the station, which was excellent.
