Four of us visited the tramway whilst on holidays in Seaton. Great value at £10 return.
At the moment the tramway is in the process of building a new station at Seaton so it may be worth your while starting your journey at the other end of the line in the village of Colyton where there is ample free parking and a lovely station. Trams are frequent and the journey takes you through the wetlands with the opportunity to see numerous bird species before arriving at the temporary terminus at the tram depot. At the moment there is a shuttle bus that will take you into Seaton.
You can have a short guided tour of the depot itself. The staff on this attraction are friendly and provide a commentary on the tram rides. You can get off at the middle stop in Colyford before continuing onto Seaton. Trams consist of single decker enclosed trams or double deck open top trams. It is worth travelling at least one way on the open top trams for the views afforded.
A great way to spend some time seeing the Ax valley
