We stayed here 3 night in may, exploring the area around Alghero... we have room number 1, with one double bed and 1 two-storey bed on the other side of the room... room was ok and bed was nice, but no cleaning as meantioned before and also no windows except for in the bathroom... hot water only at night, not in the morning...

Breafast we prepacked and only cake, croissants, cereal and milk to your coffe or tea... really a typical poor italian breakfast...

The pool was empty and the construction on the garden is not finished yet, there is still brickwork and tiles laying around waiting to be put in place...

They lady who is in charge hovever is really nice, but speaks no english... But they made us dinner when we arrived first night and only charged is 20 Eur total for antipasti, pasta, bread, water and wine... And we payed only 50 Eur/night so in total it was average for the cost... What I liked most was that it was very silent and calm, I slept really good...

Potential for this place is really good, but they need to finish the construction around the house, upgrade breakfast and clean the rooms every day...

Friendly hostess but speaks and understands only Italian. The room was clean when we arrived, but then left untouched: no beds made, no new toilet paper,... We were also quite dissapointed by the 'prepacked' breakfast (no bread, the same cake for 3 days). The room was nice and spacious, but with thin walls.
The location is perfect for exploring Sassari, Alghero and nature walks (Capo Caccia, Asinara island) if you have a car (road to b&b is quite bad!).

Sayed ten nights this July and really enjoyed our stay. If you want a five star hotel and a pool full of noisy kids then this is not for you.
However , if you want a quiet place to relax and a real taste of Sardinian welcome with a laid back environment, then you will be pleased.
Suggest you choose the three superior rooms as the others seem basic. Clean rooms and staff willing to help you. Suggest hiring a car but local buses are available ten minute walk way in Tottubella.
Speaking for ourselves, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again but hire a car.

The property is basic and is set in lovely gardens adjoining the family's home.

It isn't as lovely as it looks on Hello Sardinia's website, and the pool is not one you'd want to swim in - when we saw it, the surface was covered in a film of tiny black flies - more to follow...

We booked for 3 nights but left after the first because of the swarms of tiny black flies which infest the area and instantly attach themselves all over your skin within seconds of stepping foot outside of your room.

Tottubella is also quite isolated with little or no restaurant choice nearby. You will have to drive into Alghero to eat and drink.

We wouldn't recommend it - the flies completely freaked us out!

stayed 5 nights.

The website set expectation much higher.

The owners are really nice, but the property is new and not charming as you may expect.

Service has some problems, clean towels only upon request.

rooms simple but clean.

the position is central for all the area turistic spots.
