Nestled on the hillside of Pegeia, Villa Adonia offers the traveller first-class accommodation. Well-designed and appointed rooms provide comfort and a great sense of space. Mesmerising views and beautiful sunsets are truly the icing on the cake.
This was our first visit to Cyprus in November and it exceeded our expectations. Breakfast outside, then relaxing by the pool, such a delightful start to the day. Each evening we snuggled down to watch a movie or two. Any thoughts that a stone villa in November would be cold were unfounded. During a six night stay heating was only required for a couple of hours. A booster switch ensures plenty of hot water even on cloudy days.
A 20 minute drive ‘up the hill’ takes you to Kathikas, a typical Cypriot village. Great food was enjoyed at The Farmyard Restaurant and Petradaki Taverna. Sunday lunch is a popular event, possibly book to avoid disappointment. Farewell drinks, with a slice of homemade carrot cake, at the Kathikas Square Cafe and Gin bar marked the end of a fantastic holiday.
Thank-you Tracy for sharing your beautiful holiday home. Will we be back? A definitive yes.
We’ve just had the most brilliant week at Villa Adonia. It was perfect for our two families, 4 adults and 3 children, with 4 en-suite bedrooms and open plan living, dining and kitchen.
The infinity pool was beautiful, ‘refreshing!’ in the morning but warmed up through the day.
The villa was fully equipped, we barbecued every day and couldn’t have asked for anything more.
The views over Peyia and Coral Bay were stunning. Usually we’re big fans of eating out, but with the facilities and beautiful view we didn’t feel the need to!
Just a few minutes drive to the village, with tavernas and well-stocked supermarkets.
About 5-10 minutes drive to Coral Bay which is a lovely beach, great for kids.
Nothing was too much trouble for owner Tracy, who replies to messages really quickly and helpfully, and Steve and Charlotte the property managers popped in to say hi and checked everything was ok, and we’re really friendly and helpful.
All in all I can’t think of a single thing I’d change, we had a perfect holiday in this lovely, peaceful villa.
This villa is a 'must'! In fact - stop looking for anything else! One of the nicest, most well appointed and equipped villas I have ever stayed in. The description and pictures are the same as the reality and the infinity pool with 'beach slope' access is stunning. The location is great with an approximate 15 minute walk into Peyia where you can find some authentic tavernas to eat and drink to your hearts content! We'll be back to watch the magnificent sunrise and sunset just as soon as we can and this is where we'll be staying!
We stayed at the villa on the last week of June/first week of July, for 6 nights.
When we arrived the villa was exactly as portrayed in the pictures online! It is beautiful and the landscape and setting is breathtaking!
There was a group of 7 of us staying at the Villa Adonia, and the amenities were perfect for a group of that size. 8 sunbeds, four bedrooms (all en suite), outside and inside dining tables, set for 8 people!
The infinity pool was gorgeous and well looked after, with beautiful views! The pool area is also very private and unable to be looked over etc!
The spa bath and Sauna in the master en suite, were used consistently. The bedrooms were all very clean and tidy and well equipped with towels, fans and hair dryers etc.
The TV provided UK channels and the WIFI worked amazingly, considering there was 7 of us using it often.
We visited Peyia a couple of times for a meal and to visit the local shops! We travelled into the nearby town of Coral Bay, which had some beautiful restaurants and lively bars! We also went to Paphos for a few drinks one night, which was quite lively...if that is what you are after! Taxis are really cheap!!
The villa itself was very relaxing and is definitely one of the most quietest and calmest places that I have stayed before! Would 100% recommend for a chilled holiday destination!
We stayed at Villa Adonia for 11 nights in early June 2018, and had a fantastic holiday. The Villa is exactly as the website photos portray it, sitting in beautifully landscaped grounds and pool area, and the infinity pool itself is excellent and clean. Ample sunbeds and seating for up to 8 people are provided, although there was just the two of us, and there are also two upper floor balconies to sit on. The pool deck is not overlooked at all, so privacy is great. The Villa was very clean and tidy, and tastefully decorated & furnished, and all four bedrooms are ensuite. There is a spa bath and sauna in the master ensuite. The Internet TV has all the UK and Sky channels which is a bonus, and the WIFI signal even works out on the pool deck. Any small queries we had were dealt with by the two owners and their local representative within a very short time, nothing was too much trouble.
There are a few bars and restaurants within a 15 minute walk of the Villa and the nearest large supermarket is near Coral Bay which is just ten minutes by car. Taxis are cheap and easy to order.
The view from the pool deck and balconies over Coral Bay is amazing, and it has to be one of the quietest spots I have ever stayed in abroad, and I can recommend Villa Adonia as a great and relaxing holiday destination
