The Nicos apartments are located up a slight hill - 2 minute stroll down to the waters edge of the small quiet harbour village of Loggos.
There are about 10 small 2 bed self catering apartments spread over 2 floors each with a balcony or patio. Upstairs all get a sea view.
There is a small but well stocked mini market shop just outside its gate - so perfect for self catering.

The apartments consist of a kitchen/dining area, toilet with shower, and twin bedded bedroom area leading to the balcony/patio. Reasonably equipped - cooker and oven, fridge with freezer box. Aircon in the bedroom (payable extra, locally at 6 euros per night - it was very hot at night so you need to budget that in).
All the apartments are in need of updating and quite a few minor repairs are needed (don't expect the owners to rush out and fix the minor things as it looked like they had been there a while. We and other couples had several minor complaints and niggles) - its a 2 star and no more. Cleaned only once per week. Not horrible but needs attention in places.

Small but nice enough saltwater chlorinated pool and small patio area with nice sunbeds and parasols(although not enough for all the guests to use at the same time - indeed, the patio area round the pool is not large enough either) - but quite pretty, quiet and clean. No traffic noise or interference at night - no building work anywhere make this a great choice for a quiet relaxing stay but with all the amenities just a short stroll away. Nearest proper beach (pebbly) is about a 5-6 minute walk from the apartments although the harbour does have its own small beach area.
The sea was lovely and clear and not too cold for extended swimming.

Loggos lies is in the middle of the islands coastal villages and is quiet and pretty. It has 5 or 6 small restaurants and a couple of nice bars - all are quiet. Restaurants are a mixed bag of quality - one night good, next time, not so good). Credit cards not widely accepted anywhere so take plenty of cash (euros).

Not much for kids to do anywhere here. It has tourist info and tour booking office as well as boat trips, car bike and boat hire - everything you need. There is a very efficient but service that goes from one end of the island to the other that is quite cheap - so there is no real need to hire a car.

Paxos is a small quiet hilly island (7 miles by 3 miles) covered in olive trees. Pebble/stony beaches - though these are quite nice when you find them (ask the locals as they are not well sign posted). Good for walks and exploring - hot too in june. All the locals speak pretty good english. It's a pretty greek experience, so don't expect english cuisine or karaoke here.

Overall - for travellers seeking peace and quiet and an authentic greek experience then this is the perfect place. Loggos was pretty, natural and calming. The same could not be said for the Kosmar rep who was next to useless.

The island and loggos would get 4 stars, the quality of the apartments and the holiday company drag that down.
