Nicolletta Villa was clean, cool and relaxing. The pool is small and they could use a bit less chlorine. It's the kind of pool for cooling off in and relaxing beside but not quite big enough to keep older kids engaged. The villa is only five minutes walk down to a beautiful and rocky beach. The path is however a bit rocky and a bit steep so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't steady on their feet. That being said, it has a sense of being slightly more secluded and I basked in my early morning cups of coffee by the sea with maybe only one or two other people up at the time. Back to the house...it is a 20 minute walk to the village of logos ( with a short it of that being steepish and rockyish and the rest on a small road. The walk itself is stunningly picturesque in parts. It's a bit far to carry groceries but at least one of the local markets will happily deliver within an hour of your purchase. Christine had arranged for basic snacks and groceries for our arrival ( free of charge ) so we had bottled water, a couple of beers and snacks when we got there. Also, we found Christi e to be very available and responsive either to text or phone. Being a Canadian in Italy and Greece over the summer meant that a/c was important to us. It worked well in the living room and the master bedroom. The second bedroom got pretty stuffy but thankfully our 14 yr old son was pretty stoic about it. The ad says its designed only for three people however we also had our twelve year old daughter. They put a cot in the hallway fr her and that worked for both bed comfort and temperature. Overall the kids would have liked Internet and a location closer to town. For e however, the location was perfect.
