We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Villa Thea. Those with small legs rebelled at walking up the hill but we got taxis up or the excellent bus service. Between the pool and the beach the kids were hardly ever out of the water and their swimming has improved so much. Our biggest decision each day was which of the amazing tavernas to eat at. We can particularly recommend Nassos' in the centre of Loggos, followed by sundowners at Roxy Bar. Or take away kebabs in pitta from Tolly's. We made use of Stella, the maid's, cooking service and she prepared an amazing feast with vegetarian moussaka and chicken for the meat eaters and a to-die-for chocolate soufflé. Can't fault a thing.

From the moment we first got in touch with Erica about Villa Thea she has been amazing.
She organised our transfers, hire car and taxis, plus answered our numerous emails immediately.
Then we come to the Villa. It was even better than we expected. Great size, spotlessly clean, fantastic location with incredible views and an amazing pool that we spent hours and hours in.
Thank you Erica for an fantastic holiday. We will definitely be back.
From the crystal clear pool, the beautiful island, the charming locals and the comfortable (air-conditioned) house, Villa Thea is a perfect get away for any family.
Erica is efficient and helpful and arranged a smooth journey from Corfu to Paxos. I can't recommend Villa Thea enough.
It's been the second time we have rented Villa Thea from Erica. She is a delight to work with, nothing is too much trouble.
Everything you could need is in place as Erica & her family use the Villa themselves.
I would most certainly recommend it to others.
You must hire a car, unless you are very very fit as the walk down to Loggos is fine, however the walk back up the hill is not for the old or infirm, or unfit !!!!!
We have been going to Paxos for many years. At the beginning we chose villas that hugged the coast and were close to the main hot spots.
This time we were able to come for 5 weeks in late spring. Our mission to fill in the gaps of our knowledge and find more of what the locals see in their lovely island. For example greek coffee can be up to 2.50 Euro in Loggos; but just 1 Euro in the hills.. The food is often better there as the tavernas are not being swamped by diners at peak times.
Villa Thea is perfectly placed on the island to enable its guests to take the plastic wallet of Bleasdale Maps and wander off in any direction and find enchantment along the way.
This time, we found pathways to go across the hills to Sunset Cafe, Lakka, Fortuna, and Gaios. Mostly gentle. The only scramble we found was a short part of coastline from Sunset Cafe just before picking up the Lakka pathway. Early morning starts are the best.
Whenever we became too hot to move around we found time to enjoy the views and the pool and the breeze.
The cats stayed keep to their area below the pool and there is only one, Katy, who will spend time with you by the pool. They are all neutered, wormed and medically kept in good shape. They are fed every morning by Francis, a neighbour - away from the house - and it all works out well. Francis has lots of local knowledge as she has lived on Paxos for about 8 years.
Stella the maid is ACE. She is originally from the island but lives in Athens in the Winter. When asked, her home cooking was a highlight.
