We like to take a lunchtime baguette along to the Bourtzi and watch the world go by. Our usual cafe at the bottom of Papadiamanti Street "had no tuna", so walked up the street hoping to find somewhere. We hit upon Foodie Cafe with a good selection of baguettes on display.
The guy who we took to be the owner as very obliging and friendly. We both chose a tuna salad which came with serviettes and all nicely packaged. The bread was of a high standard, very fresh, tasty and not too crusty that anyone might damage their teeth. The filling too was tasty with mayo, tomato, lettuce and a good amount of tuna. Good value at 6 Euros for two.
Well recommended on this first occasion and I am sure we will return next year in preference to our previous choice.
