Just back from another great holiday in Tsilivi, second year we have stayed at Hotel Petros and again couldnt fault the hotel staff. The Pool area is fabulous with plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Breakfast is continental and quite basic. Hotel in quiet area but easy access to everywhere. We will be back again next year. Girls from 255 and 257

Room Tip: we would recommend 255 or 257 - sun on the balcony all day

If you are looking for a friendly hotel with a relaxed evironment, I can certainly recommend the Hotel Petros. For me as single traveller this was one of the key points as all the staff were friendly and very helpful making me feel completely at home. I would particularly put in a good word for the receptionist Sandra who is always pleasant and on top of her job, running around sorting things out like a human dynamo! This hotel is very suitable for families and everyone I spoke to was very happy to be there.

The continental breakfast is certainly adequate with fresh bread, cooked meat, cheese, fruit, cerial, hard boiled eggs, fruit juice, tea and coffee. So you certainly will not go hungry.

The rooms are a good size and for me the bed was perfect. Note that in some cases you may have to pay extra for aircon, so please ask.

The pool is a good size and depth where necessary having a safe area for children. There is a poolside bar where food is served and a small shop for most requirements.

You will only have no more than a ten minute walk to find the beach and a multiplicity of bars, restuarants and tavernas. I did not speak to one local person on the island from various walks of life who was not friendly and helpful. Tsilivi is not a rowdy place, I found it very nice. Please mail me if you require any further assistance.

We stayed at Hotel Petros for ten nights as we were in Zante for a friends wedding and enjoyed every minuet.

Before we left England I e-mailed Hotel Petros to ask if we could have a room that got the afternoon sun, a prompt reply was received and my request was granted , thanks to Zandra. Our room 255 was spacious with a large balcony which the sun stayed on till 8.00pm, just what we wanted.

The rooms are very basic but very clean, yes the beds are hard but you get used to this and speaking to our friends from other hotels their beds were on the firm side too.

The shower is a bit of an issue with the unusual style of shower curtain which you get wrapped up in, it’s easier not to use it,

There is a small TV in the room but only one English channel but this wasn’t an issue as we were not on holiday to watch TV. Air con was charged at 28 Euros per week, fridge 17.5 Euros per week, and safety box 13 Euros per week.

The pool area was very clean with plenty of sunbeds.

Breakfast was very basic, but we never went hungry, but by the time we were due to leave we’d had enough of tinned peaches, some fresh fruit would have been a welcome addition.

The main town with bars & restaurants was only ten minuets walk and the beach was 15 minuets, which meant you were never disturbed at night.

This was our first visit to Tsillvi and if the price was right we would definitely return to Hotel Petros.

Room Tip: rooms 255, 257, 259.260 have large balconys which get sunshine till late pm

Just spent 2 weeks here and had a brilliant time, would go back tomorrow if I could! We had a lovely room overlooking the pool, it was spotless and cleaned every day. The rooms were quite large with very comfy beds. The pool area had plenty of sunbeds for everyone and the staff were so friendly, especially the 2 girls on reception. If it wasnt for Sandra on reception we would have missed our flight - the bus didnt turn up (Resorthoppa bus!) but Sandra sorted us a taxi and arranged the bus company to pay - all thanks to Sandra who was so friendly and helpful for our whole holiday.
The hotel is in a good location, a 10 minute walk into town which means its nice and quiet when you go back. Tsilivi caters for everyone from 0 to 90 with quiet and lively bars depending on what you want. I cant wait to go back and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: rooms overlooking the pool are nice
