“Superb Accomodation, Excellent Location.”
Reviewed 8 August 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Beautiful holiday cottage with breathtaking views from both upstairs and down. Quiet location, able to walk to friendly local pub. They do a Sunday Roast, yummy. Close to Dunoon which has several supermarkets, and lovely shops. So many local attractions. We did the Waverley paddle steamer ride one afternoon. Visited Benmore Botanical Gardens, they have a great cafe for lunch. Spent a day at Inverary and visited the town and Castle. A short easy drive from Baileyfield Cottage. Visited local reataurants for evening meals and found food superb. So much to do but also able to relax and have a quiet read while enjoying the views. We are from New Zealand and will be back again I am sure.

“Best we've ever stayed at”
Reviewed 4 August 2018 for a stay in July 2018

This beautiful house is superbly situated at the edge of Holy Loch with views across to Dunoon. You can watch the Dunoon ferries and the occasional cruise liner while enjoying the fantastic scenery. You can visit castles, ancient churches, a brewery and so many other places. And if the weather threatens to spoil thins, the house is fully equipped with games and media.

Beautiful home with stunning views over the Holy Loch.
We had a fabulous holiday where we enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden. We were welcomed with homemade scones, jam and cream served with a chilled bottle of prosecco which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The house is very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday.
Thanks to Janet and Gordon for making us feel so at home.

“Simply stunning”
Reviewed 26 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Baileyfield is a dream location away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. The house has all the comforts and amenities of a five star hotel and with breath taking views over Holy Loch.
From the moment you arrive, where you are welcomed with a cream tea and chilled proscecco , you begin to relax. The owner's Janet and Gordon are amazingly helpful and provide all sorts of tips and suggestions for places to visit.
There is plenty to do in the area from amazing walks, fantastic botanic gardens, superb restaurants and an award winning Spa. Further afield is Glasgow for a shopping trip or a stroll around a very cosmopolitan city.
We have enjoyed the holiday so much that we have already booked to return.

“WOW!”
Reviewed 17 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

WOW! After arrival we were met by the owners Gordon & Janet and quaffed our complimentary Fizz which helped wash down the freshly baked scones with jam! (also complimentary!) The views were tremendous all week, even when it rained! The wildlife viewed from your comfy chair and complimentary binoculars was sensational! Truly a great base for exploring the local area and can I say, very comfortable bedrooms indeed! The local pub did excellent 'pub food' and had good selection of beers. Five stars from me and the family Sayer *****
