Great B&B, the hostess was very nice. We arrived quite late, and she was extremely accommodating to our delay. Our room was good-sized. The bathroom was big, but the shower was a corner type and a bit small (about 30 x 30"). The property is about 5 minutes off the main road, but it's very peaceful. It is just a few minutes from Benderloch village which doesn't offer too much by way of food, but Oban is a mere 15 minutes away and has many options. There is a nice sitting room upstairs with couches and a good-sized TV (also a ~15" TV in the room). Breakfast was great too.
Note: There is a nearby restaurant (Hawthorn) that came highly recommended by our hostess; however, if you want to dine here, you will need reservations as it's fairly small.

The biggest reason why we chose this place was because they had herds of highland cattle (which we’ve nicknamed Justin Bieber cows). We’ve since discovered that highland cattle aren’t very friendly and are actually kind of jerks. Oh well, we had a fun time here anyway.

Its a nice, good sized two storey house on acreage. The house is relatively new (maybe 20 yrs?) and clean and well kept. The rooms are upstairs in the main house with a private bathroom. The house is decorated in a typical suburban manner. Beds are comfy and there’s a sitting room on the opposite end of the house that overlooks one of the fields.

You’re welcome to wander around the property and we wandered around the fields stalking cattle and all the way down to the beach which is quite nice. The hostess is friendly and full of recommendations for the area. Breakfast is served in the downstairs dining room and is as expected. Good value and a good place to stay if you’re in the area. No amenities in the immediate area so you will have to drive if you need anything or want to grab some dinner.

This is just the place to relax. It's 2 miles nearly up a single track road and is so, so peacful. The B & B is a little way from the farm, but that ads to the peace. The veiw from the poulnge balcony on the first floor is wonderful. Elaine, the owner, is so welcoming and friendly. Happy to stop and chat and have a laugh with. The rooms are very pretty and comfortable with pleanty of room. Brand new en-suite with all facilities and a good powerful shower. Breakfast is at 8am unless otherwsie agreed and was OK. All the usual stuff available, but we felt it could have been a little more locally sourced and substantial. We were, however, impressed with it in general and could find no faults. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, friendly and prefect for a quiet break. Only 10 minutes from Oban centre. We will return.

Our return visit to this farmhouse B&B was just as enjoyable as our first visit. A little bit of the beaten track but this adds to its disirability for people who like calm.
Rooms very clean owner friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at the relaxing Shenavallie Farm B&B. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and within a short drive of Oban. The property is fantastic, the rooms are lovely, the breakfast is very nice and the facilities are excellent! Most importantly, Mrs. Buchanan took wonderful care of us, we felt incredibly welcome. We would love to stay there again, hopefully for a longer period.
