Got there just in time for a great guided tour. Our guide Roy was very entertaining & knowledgeable about this excellent museum full of mechanical musical treasures! Going back soon to watch a silent movie with live Wurlitzer Organ accompaniment- can’t wait!

We visited the museum on Easter Sunday. To get the most from your visit you simply must go on one of the tours where some of the instruments will be demonstrated and you'll get an explanation of how they work. Roy, our tour guide, was excellent. He explained how the instruments worked in simple terms and it was wonderful to listen to the sounds of a bygone era. We finished our tour with a 45 minute demonstration of the wurlitzer theatre organ - it was brilliant! A memorable visit that I would thoroughly recommend to all.

We stayed in Brentford for a visit to Kew Gardens and, on our last day, decided to visit the Musical Museum. What a great find! If you have an interest in music and how it is made, then this is the place for you. We went on a tour with Roy as our guide. His enthusiasm and knowledge brought the collection to life. In fact all the staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. Oh, and lunch in the cafe was great. We will certainly go again.
