Checked in today...got upgraded due to delay in cleaning of the room booked by me...
Well, coming to review...this hotel signifies the decor and Pom Pom which one typically associates with Sayaji...
Having said this, they have not had an eye for detail...e.g. While the TVs in the Grand rooms are very large and great, but Set top box is placed behind the TV..I.e. One cannot change channel...similarly, the fittings in WC were not working... Fitness centre yet to be commenced... uh... bad time to come to this property...
Not value for money or luxury...

The food was not very impressive ... the staff was very friendly and helpful... the rooms are very well equipped and comfortable... the location is very nice as it's not very crowded and also closest to a mall in the city ..

I stayed @ Sayaji Hotel Kolhapur for 2 nights on 6th, 7th Sept 2016 with my wife and 2 kids. Hotel is very easy to drive as it is on the straight road that enters the kolhapur city from Pune Kolhapur highway.Hotel is a very lavish facility with grand lobby. Rooms are very well maintained and have fairly enough space. My room was facing the main road and hotel entrance. The view on back side is better as you get a wide view of Kolhapur city from there. Staff is extremely polite and excellent in service. Our room was immediately cleaned as we stepped out during the day. Ample parking space is available and also have valet service available so parking was hassle free. It is fairly near the city so going around the city was very convenient. We actually used auto rikshaw when wanted to go to crowded place like Mahalakshmi temple or city market. There is DYP city mall just adjacent to hotel so there are plenty food options available in food court. We enjoyed our stay here and kids loved the place. Only thing that kids missed was swimming pool as it is not opreational and a small kids play area would have been added advantage.

The brand of Sayaji is very well known and my visit to Sayaji Kolhapur was no different. Excellent in room service, buffet breakfast and decor. The staff was very friendly, infact at one point we needed 3 extra chairs in the room and they managed that in 15 mins. All in all a fantastic experience.
