We had got the room with Garden sit out area. Room was very clean and outside area is also quite well maintained. Food was great had Mutton thali and Kaju masala. The resort is on the outskirts of Kolhapur an hour before you enter the city. Very peaceful location,

Excellent location, excellent property, peaceful, refreshing and luxurious stay. Prompt room service.

Food was good but they had limited options. I would recommend to add few kids friendly food options as well.

Whenever we visit Kolhapur, Nisarg is our stay undoubtedly.. This resort is on the hill and offers good weather and view.
Hospitality is remarkable, sanitised and clean rooms and the food is super tasty.
Special mention for Mr Sudarshan who is the site manager and great host.

This place Nisarg resort at Kolhapur and the overall property is just WoW. The staff is simply fabulous. The stay is much more special because of the friendly staff and their attitude to always help. The location is awesome. It's on a hill and the view of entire city is stunning. Local authentic taste of food at the resort, breakfast spread, reasonable pricing makes this a gem of a place and must visit resort.
We had an awesome stay overall. And we have now planned to visit this place again sooner for a longer stay. We have also recommended to our friends and family. Its a must must visit. Special mention for all the staff who takes utmost care to even ask for your ongoing journey and how they can help to make it hassel free.

Room tip: Must try Nishigandh Bali Theme Cottage

We were on our way back from a Road trip with out 6 year old pet retriever and needed to make an overnight stop in Kolhapur. I searched and called many properties including Sayaji and Fern yet no property was Pet friendly. I finally found Nisarg and Pooja from reservation was very professional and helpful in confirming my reservation. Booked for the King Suite with bathtub and though the room was "nice", it was the bathroom that was the show stopper!
It's in the outskirts of Kolhapur atop a hill. Our room had a patio sit out and a small green patch which did wonders for our dog's mood :) The best thing was that we had our own small gate so our pet could not escape. The AC does a decent job yet if you enjoy a warm cuddle in your blanket in cold room, that won't be possible as you will wake up drenched in sweat. This room could definitely do with a bigger AC. Also, you WILL be greeted with lots of cockroaches everywhere so think twice before putting your clothes in the cupboard and leaving food unsealed on the electric kettle table. Do NOT keep the door open even for a minute else you will have grasshoppers and lots of mosquitoes that refuse to die with All out in your room. Dab odomos before you go to bed.
Food is decently priced and yummy!!

The bathroom is Spectacular. It feels like a cave with its wood and rock slab interiors. The tub is HUGE and is almost a mini pool! Water is not hot enough for a steaming soak but will be enough to get a pleasantly warm soak for 15-20 mins. The shower is not exactly kid friendly as they can slip on the rock when taking a shower or even if you are naturally not very sure footed as you are prone to slip once soap and shampoo hit the rock floor. A handle near the shower would really be great as it will ensure safety of the guests.
