This is Durga temple. The place is excellent and stay can be booked in the temple. Do not venture after evening if you are new to this place as the read is lonely and you might miss the way. I took a guide and drove here. They are excellent in looking after the visitors and are very accommodate. I believe the food provided her is also very good. I missed it due to the late evening and we were in urgent to go to mookambika.

Tuesday and Friday busy place. I went on a Wednesday for mid day pooja, as we reached the place n got down felt like... "Please look arround," coz the nature arround u makes you to do so.
Wide temple with ample parking place. Not many devotees to rush into.
Silently entered the temple and had a great view of the Goddess Durga.
This place offers its visitor's a good treat for lunch. Mouth watering meal,i never had such good lunch menu in any other temple. For distant pilgrims can book their guest house, available.
Over all this place supports the Yakshaganam, a popular whole night entertainment in the coastal Karnataka.
May brahmi Durga bless you all n ur good wishes come true.

Very old temple wonderful location along the river kubja. The main deity is Durgaparameshwari. Temple environment is very calm and quite. Variety and quality food including 8-10 items and 2 sweets are served daily for lunch. The free lunch for all devotees starts after the mangalarathi pooja in the temple performed at 12.30 pm. People are very courteous. Afternoon lunch was like a feast the only temple in Karnataka where food is served with commitment and varieties. Newly constructed building behind the temple having rooms Ac & Non-Ac for stay. In the temple breakfast, Lunch and dinner is provided. The temple is open from morning 5.00am to 8.00pm in the evening. From Kundapura kamlashile is around 35 to 40 km. From Udupi around 60-65 km.

We visited this temple on recommendation from local residents. Being off the beaten track it's not crowded - mostly frequented by locals in the evenings. So one can have a peaceful darshan. Roads were not in great condition with no lighting at all. Overall, can be visited if staying in Udupi.

The temple is in udupi in a forest .this is surrounded by mountain. Along the river kubja.the main deity is durgaparameswari worshipped in the form of linga.,which is said to be combination of the three goddess mahakali, mahalakshmi and mahakali SaraswathI. The important puja of the temple is the one done in the evening, as a tribute to hyderabad Ali and tips sultan.here too food is offered by the temple

We visited Sri Brahmi Durga Parameshwari Temple on the way to Theertha halli as we had heard it from a friend. The temple is in the midst of the nature and the temple is not so crowded and you can spend a couple of hours peacefully as the place is so calm. Also you have the option to stay back here based on the availability of the guest house. We let ourselves relax here after having the lunch and moved on to Theertha halli. The prasada (food) here is served every day and is a feast. for your taste buds

the upkeep of the temple is very bad.. toilets are in poor condition... the place to wash hands and feet is very filthy. The edge of the temple pond is covered with garbage.. when so many people visit the temple and fill the hundis why can't the temple authorities keep the temple neater.
