Went to this Thai restaurant when the one in our accommodation didn't offer much in the way of vegetarian options. Very good value for Jabiru.

Had dinner here, tried the Green Curry and Basil Beef. Dishes were yummy. Serving size was good. Considering where we were, in the middle of nowhere, it was overall a pretty good meal and the best we had in Kakadu. Would definitely have gone back there had we stayed in Jabiru for another night.

We had two meals at Anbinik during our three nights at Kakadu and they had by far the best food in the area. We opted for Thai on both nights sharing two different dishes on each occasion. The helpings were very large with very nice flavours. Each main course costs $25 which is on the high side but not too bad due to the helping size and quality. It is not licensed but there isn’t any corkage on BYO.
Other reviews have criticised the serving staff but we had good prompt service on both visits.
Two very enjoyable evenings.

The yellow curry is delicious! The tofu is really good and it's easy to eat here as a vegetarian. I also ordered the 'Cashew' with tofu, and it was really really good! However, there is one negative point to this restaurant, and unfortunately for many others: the single use plastic straws! :C they are provided even if you don't ask to.. It would be a good thing to switch to straws made of steel or biodegradable ones :)
During my trip in this country I've seen several restaurant that refuses to provide straws or provided biodegradable ones, that's why I don't give a 5 stars.
I hope this advice will be taken into consideration!
The people who work there were very friendly!

it was a little obvious that getting good, secure, committed staff was a challenge. The Thai food was beyond expectation for such a remote location in Jabiru but service let them down a little. That said, we went back a second time.
